Hi Folks,

Winter is upon us – it’s getting colder, and darker – but despair not – Christmas is coming, and some boffin has created a way to get drunk which is instantly reversible and doesn’t produce hangovers. We can’t see a down side πŸ™‚

MBA for Security Management online

Bob Dyson answers 5 employment questions that have been asked by Services enquirers:

4.Where in the world are MBA graduates paid most?

Employers in the USA and Western Europe paid the highest salaries to MBA graduates in 2012.

Other parts of the world are catching up but Eastern Europe actually showing a 7% salary decrease for MBA graduates employed last year.

These figures are affected by the growing number of smaller companies in each region that are now recruiting MBA graduates, as they tend to pay less than the multi-nationals.

Research references will be supplied to all readers requesting such information.

(Anglia Ruskin University qualify this online MBA. It is particularly suitable for Servicemen and women who have held rank).

Doyle Goes Through The Wall Yet Again

Regular readers of our newsletter will be familiar with former member of the British Army's Parachute Regiment, Paddy Doyle, and his attempt to hold as many strength/speed/stamina records as he can. We've received another update from his team and, as always, it's another set of world records that have tumbled:

Paddy Doyle had to focus hard and dig deep at Stamina's Gym to push his tally of strength speed stamina records to a career 308.

Doyle beat the current Guinness World Record of the most strength fitness star jumps in 1 minute whilst carrying a 100lb back pack, completing 33. For this exercise the rules stipulate that you must squat to the ground touch the floor with both hands then jump up from the ground with your hands locked above your head.

He then attempted another Guinness World Record for the most strength jumping jacks in the same time carrying 100lb pack completing 53 repetitions.

Doyle said:

"These exercises are especially hard carrying the extra weight and put pressure on your lower back and ankles but being consistent with my training and having mentally tough training partners who push me hard in the ring and on the matt helps me 100%."

Currently holding 207 fitness endurance boxing martial arts titles the former Para and boxer said "I am aiming to continue as long as I can, especially as my injuries have cleared up, a big thank you to Matthew Petrie {MMA fighter} and the team for their support."

Well done again Paddy!

Fast Learner

A man is driving his five year old to a friend's house when another car races in front and cuts them off, nearly causing an accident.

"Douchebag!" the father yells.

A moment later he realizes the indiscretion, pulls over, and turns to face his son.

"Your father just said a bad word," he says. "I was angry at that driver, but that was no excuse for what I said. It was wrong. But just because I said it, it doesn't make it right, and I don’t ever want to hear you saying it. Is that clear?"

His son looks at him and says:

"Too late, douchebag!"
