The twelve–day Orchid Executive Close Protection course is designed with a balance of intensity and enjoyable training. It adheres to the HABC Qualifications and Credits Framework (QCF) to meet the requirements of the Security Industry Authorities (SIA) for guided learning hours.

The course provides delegates with two underpinning mechanisms to achieve the Level 3 assessment criteria; knowledge and theory to pass the HABC written exam, and a large portion of the course is developing the theory into practical ability, to achieve key skill sets for HABC practical competencies.

The course is delivered by experienced Orchid Instructors in the counties of Dorset and Hampshire.

Our Executive Protection (EP) Training team encompasses a wide variety of professional and commercial backgrounds including:

  • former UK Special Forces
  • Special Branch Diplomatic Protection Services
  • and Anti–terrorist specialists

Orchid is a registered member (No 5948) of the Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme (ELCAS) and we welcome service leavers entitled to ELCAS.

Foreign delegates are welcome and encouraged to join the Orchid Executive Close Protection course. However delegates should recognise that the SIA specifies communication in English is an integral requirement of the SIA competencies.

The criteria of assessment will be on–going by the course instructors throughout and workbooks will be provided during student registration.

A proof of identity (passport) is required when attending the course together with a UK/International driving licence.

The cost of the course is £950 + VAT and to assist delegates with meals and residential overnight accommodation, Orchid have an excellent corporate arrangement to suit personal costs and allowances.
