Newsletter – 10 April 2014
April 10, 2014 Newsletter
In the UK, a new study has recommended eating up to 10 portions of fruit and vegetables per day. The idea is that eating more vegetables will help you live longer. No one has tested the possibility that it might just feel that way 🙂
We hope you enjoy our newsletter.
If you have any suggestions or ideas for items you’d like us to include, or any feedback on the newsletter — or our new website — good or otherwise, please email us at:…[email protected]–mil.co.uk.

Annual reports on MBAs, which are issued by an independent research organisation, are available for the last 3 years.
They show that jobs for MBA qualified applicants increased annually over a period when jobs for most others had a negative growth rate.
In fact, the rate of increase for MBA qualified applicants was better than for virtually all other sectors.
Projections for 2014 are as follows:
- Jobs for MBA qualified applicants are likely to grow by 15% in 2014.
- Countries that will employ most MBA qualified applicants this year are likely to be Eastern Asia, Eastern Europe and the USA.
- Sectors that might show the highest growth are law, energy, fmcg and finance.
- Employment areas that are expected to pay the highest salaries are ranked as follows:
- Western Europe.
- Eastern Asia.
- Middle East.
- South America.
- Eastern Europe.
Any readers of this Ex–Mil newsletter who would like to do their own research should contact Bob Dyson using the email below. Copies of the independent reports are available, free of charge.

A chicken farmer went to a local bar. He sat next to a woman and ordered a glass of champagne.
“How about that? I’ve just ordered a glass of champagne, too!” said the woman.
“What a coincidence,” the farmer says, “I’m celebrating, as this is a special day for me”
“I’m also celebrating! It’s a special day for me too” says the woman.
“What a coincidence” says the man. “Cheers!”
They touched glasses, and the farmer asked “What are you celebrating?”
“My husband and I have been trying to have a child. We’ve been having problems, but today my gynaecologist told me I’m pregnant!”
“What a coincidence,” says the man, “I’m a chicken farmer and for years my chickens laid eggs that wouldn’t hatch. Today, one of the eggs finally did hatch.”
“Well, that’s great!” says the woman, “How did your chickens become fertile?”
“I used a different cock,” he replied.
The woman smiled and said,
“What a coincidence!”
