Job Seeking Advice

Introducing: Leavers Link

9 October 2014

The Leavers Link is a voluntary organisation run with the exclusive aim of helping business easily connect with the many high quality, skilled people leaving the UK Armed Forces.  Upwards of 65% of all roles within the UK job market are found by networking.

Their objectives are ;

  1. Providing business with direct access to a rich vein of talented, motivated, flexible and resilient people who will add considerable value to business.
  2. Connecting people who are about to leave, or have left, the Armed Forces with business and employers; paving the way for opportunities, employment, advice and much more.
  3. Supporting and encouraging service leavers, ex forces and veterans to begin or continue to develop their networks with business leaders, managers and organisations, so that they place themselves in the strongest position regarding employment opportunities.

Leaver’s Link is run on a wholly voluntary basis in Colchester, on the 3rd Thursday monthly, Norwich on the 4th Thursday monthly and Peterborough on the 1st Wednesday of the month.

For times and locations, please check www.Leaverslink.co.uk. You can also find them on LinkedIn and Facebook under “LeaversLink”.
