I am an ex-serviceman seeking employment after 30 years service. With my experience laid out below, I am looking for something that will allow me to work within a diverse role that offers the potential for progression preferably in a family orientated environment, however I would equally consider roles as a Bursar or working within the National Trust. I would prefer to work in either the south of England or Herefordshire but always willing to consider options. PROJECT MANAGEMENT – PRINCE 2 & Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt) Throughout my service I have been involved in a multitude of projects covering an extensive range of specialities, some examples of these include; maintenance of vehicle fleets, maintenance of accommodation, charitable events, installation of IT systems, supervision of all aspects of security and I have overseen an event which has necessitated hospitality, sourcing of adequate staff, liaison with outside suppliers and the supervision of security and vehicles. I have been pivotal in organising both public and charitable events specifically whilst serving in West Africa where I led a team and organised a hugely successful boxing night raising over £30,000.00 for the Sierra Leone Armed Forces Benevolent Fund. Prior to leaving the service I successfully completed the Security Officers Course. I have the ability to not only review but to recommend on a variety of security measures that would enhance any private residence or estate. Holding the latest Managing Safely qualification, I am able to conduct and complete the relevant risk assessments based on over 20 years of experience. PERSONAL ASSISTANT - with finance and communications: As an accountant I was responsible for maintaining vatable accounts and separate funds exceeding £1M. Policy and regulations were adhered to ensuring funds were managed in accordance with HMRC and MOD legislation. Trusted implicitly with managing non-public funds, I was promoted on completion of my tour of duty. I have acted as Personal Assistant at the highest level requiring complete discretion and am completely familiar with administration, budgets, time-lines of communication both written and spoken with strong IT literacy skills. The duties would include; logistics, training, finance and liaison with outside agencies and people of all cultures and status. During this time I was never found wanting, professionally able, diverse in my approach and able to think and resolve quickly on my feet as and when required. HOUSEHOLD - responsibilities including the care of expensive art. Whilst serving in the Household Division, I was exposed to fine art and restoration, something which has grown with me throughout my career which has resulted in my being able to advise military establishments on the care, cleaning of fine silver and artefacts. With over 18 years experience serving within the Warrant Officers and Sergeants Mess I was responsible for abiding by, maintaining and setting the high standards of both the informal and formal sides of military hospitality. Having now completed my service I am extremely exuberant about my second career. I thrive on the challenge whatever that may be. My work has required me to be methodical as well as flexible with extremely high standards. I am available for an immediate start, live in position in the first instance, with my partner (Hazel) and her daughter willing to follow once established.

I have and many of my contacts have done business with J-C and Ex-Mil Recruitment Ltd, every company HR's should use his business module it is excellent.
On retiring from the Army, I was most fortunate to find such an invaluable mentor as JC. His positive approach, professionalism and shrewd insights were essential factors in my successful job application. With his personal military experience combined with a comprehensive knowledge of civilian employment requirements and opportunities, he is especially well-placed to provide guidance, scope individual needs and identify employment possibilities.
I have found the process with you and your company to be nothing short of fantastic and you have simplified it in a way, that makes your company approachable. You are a straight forward man and there is no fluff around anything you say. This is refreshing in it's approach, as most recruitment companies tend to lead you down a garden path.
You are incredibly thorough and punctual, as well as caring about the individual that is applying through your company. I find this empathy, to be nothing short of incredible and it has really helped me to maintain realistic expectations, as well as being able to openly and honestly converse with you in ways that are simply not possible with any other recruitment company.
I hope your company goes from strength to strength and hopefully you become the first port of call for members that have transitioned out of the Military, as I believe there life would be much easier in doing so.
