I am an ex-serviceman seeking employment after 30 years service. With my experience laid out below, I am looking for something that will allow me to work within a diverse role that offers the potential for progression preferably in a family orientated environment, however I would equally consider roles as a Bursar or working within the National Trust. I would prefer to work in either the south of England or Herefordshire but always willing to consider options. PROJECT MANAGEMENT – PRINCE 2 & Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt) Throughout my service I have been involved in a multitude of projects covering an extensive range of specialities, some examples of these include; maintenance of vehicle fleets, maintenance of accommodation, charitable events, installation of IT systems, supervision of all aspects of security and I have overseen an event which has necessitated hospitality, sourcing of adequate staff, liaison with outside suppliers and the supervision of security and vehicles. I have been pivotal in organising both public and charitable events specifically whilst serving in West Africa where I led a team and organised a hugely successful boxing night raising over £30,000.00 for the Sierra Leone Armed Forces Benevolent Fund. Prior to leaving the service I successfully completed the Security Officers Course. I have the ability to not only review but to recommend on a variety of security measures that would enhance any private residence or estate. Holding the latest Managing Safely qualification, I am able to conduct and complete the relevant risk assessments based on over 20 years of experience. PERSONAL ASSISTANT - with finance and communications: As an accountant I was responsible for maintaining vatable accounts and separate funds exceeding £1M. Policy and regulations were adhered to ensuring funds were managed in accordance with HMRC and MOD legislation. With over 18 years experience serving within the Warrant Officers and Sergeants Mess I was responsible for abiding by, maintaining and setting the high standards of both the informal and formal sides of military hospitality. Having now completed my service I am extremely exuberant about my second career. I thrive on the challenge whatever that may be. My work has required me to be methodical as well as flexible with extremely high standards. I am available for an immediate start, live in position in the first instance, with my partner (Hazel) and her daughter willing to follow once established.

I have served 32 years in The Royal Marines as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer. The first 13 years were spent in a logistical role.
