My client, who are one of the fastest growing company in 2014 in the financial services sectors are now looking for Head of Business Management for their team.

Their particular specialisation is cross border, non-domicile, and multi-jurisdictional financial advice. Their knowledge-driven, solution-orientated approach is key to their success. It is their people who lead their multi-award winning partnership, and build upon a different approach to the expatriate, international, offshore and non-domiciled financial marketplace.

Role Definition:
• The core of this role is the ability to quickly build and maintain relationships based on trust.
• Front line support for companies International Partners/IFA’s and business units (primarily via video link, telephone, and email).
• Delivery of innovative coaching and mentoring for partners on how to build growth models in business (training provided)
• Combining with client services, accounts, investment services, compliance and IT teams in London and Dubai – Business Management is the powerhouse to driving profitable business, growth and transformation.
• My client is a high performing sales organisation, thus they require individuals to drive themselves and ultimately the business forward. Thinking outside the box and proactivity within the role, is key to hitting targets and compliments career enhancement.

Accountabilities: Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Coaching and Mentoring of partners on how to build real practices.
• Multitasking in a high-energy environment (issue resolution/relationship building).
• Applying sales mentality when building a strong and loyal two-way relationship.
• Influencing advisors to remain true to the companies principles and practices.
• Managing expectations as to what can be done and how quickly.
• Negotiating over product strategies, pricing, etc.
• Planning future sales activities.
• Onboarding and inducting new Financial Advisers.
• Work with the Directors and managers to help develop and achieve the organisations wider strategic objectives.
• Operate at all times within the Rules of the FCA and those set out in the firm’s performance measures/standards document.

Attributes: A successful candidate will be equipped with:
• Requires expert negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Communicates ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner appropriate to audience including executive levels.
• In-depth understanding of the sales process.
• Requires solid decision-making and problem solving skills.
• Analytical skills are required to determine client business needs and requirements.
• Requires excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to remain calm under various levels of pressure.
• Excellent follow-up skills in all areas of sales cycle.
• Ability to show established track record of involvement in industry trade groups preferred.
• Requires the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management (internally/externally), employees, clients and public.

The ideal person for this role would be someone from the financial services background, who has a strong business development and training background and who can become a key part of the team and help continue the success of the company both in the UK and overseas.
