As such they are now seeking an experienced Business Development Consultant to join their team.
The role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their career in medical technology by working as part of an agile, innovative business. The role will combine your passion for product development and technology with your deep understanding of the medical technology market place.
You will work with the Director of Medical & Healthcare Business. Your responsibility will be to help develop and support the strategy for the business and execute significant personal sales, marketing and client management activities that result in continued growth of this major sector.
The work will involve identifying customers who need the specialist product development services for which the Company is renowned. Key will be managing relationships long term, to build enduring business with the clients, alongside contributions to the direction of ongoing development projects, often working on more than one concurrently.
The Candidate
You will need to show proven success in business development in the Medical Technology sector with significant commercial experience in medical product development, sales experience with a design and development services company or sales experience with a medical products company.
Because of the nature of the work undertaken at my clients' site, this post is required to meet special nationality rules and therefore are only open to British Citizens. All selected candidates will be required to undergo security clearance. The MoD rules state that in order to have access to this level of information, candidates "must be British as defined in the British Nationality Act 1981"
