My client, who is a major telecoms provider, is now seeking Training Analyst (Training Requirements) for their operations in Saudi Arabia, you will be reporting to the Training Design & Development Manager.

Your Primary Objectives and Functions will be to develop and produce the Annual Training Requirement leading to development of an associated NGSS Annual Training Schedule. The post holder will work as a member of a dedicated team of Training Analysts, primarily reviewing and conducting Training Needs Analysis of MofNG SC training requirements through close liaison with MofNG and MOD staff located in the regions. Additionally, the post holder will perform routine reviews of Programmes of Instruction, recommending changes in order to maintain currency of content, and will contribute to NGSS courseware development. All such activities will be performed in accordance with the procedures associated with DSAT QS and detailed in JSP 822 and its companion publications.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

Annual Training Requirement
• Assist with the development of the Annual Training Requirement (ATR) in order to inform the subsequent development of the Annual Training Schedule (ATS), to be approved by Head of Training.
• Liaise with MofNG field commanders, MOD SANGCOM staff and Prime Contractor Regional Training Coordinators in order to establish an appreciation of requirements.
• Liaise with MOD in conducting Scoping Exercises in relation to new or changing operational capabilities.
• Conduct Training Needs Analysis in accordance with JSP 822 Part 5.
• Produce formal Annual Training Requirement detailing courses required to be delivered to ensure delivery of MofNG requirements.
• Ensure proposed training solutions meet the requirements of any associated Competence Frameworks.

Courseware Development

• Conduct review of Programmes of Instruction (POIs), ensuring currency of content.
• Propose changes to POIs through TDDM.
• Produce and maintain Task Scalars and Instructional Scalars.
• Ensure new courseware (ISpecs, ASpecs, etc) is developed in accordance with JSP 822 guidelines.
• Conduct ongoing review of existing courseware, revising as necessary to meet compliance standards of JSP 822.
• Contribute as required to Internal Validation activity conducted in NGSS and in the regions.
• Liaise with MOD SANGCOM and MofNG SC staff in relation to External Validation activities, providing input as required.

Quality Assurance
• Ensure Prime Contractor NGSS Training Analysis products and services meet set standards in accordance with the DSAT QS and internal NGSS Quality Assurance Procedures.
• Contribute to internal NGSS Training Quality Assurance procedures.
• Perform First Party training audits according to DSAT QS.

Analysis
• Monitor performance by gathering and analysing relevant data
• Aggregate and analyse evaluation results on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis for presentation to the Head of Training and customers
• Review and assess the effectiveness of change through quality control

Reporting
• Communicate the results of analysis and evaluation as directed with supporting information about best practices
• Produce statistical reports on the performance and compliance with any need for improvement to facilitate the contractual requirements of the SofS.
• Produce management reporting in appropriate format according to need as directed by TDDM.

Other duties as required by the TDDM
• Advise on training and development issues which contribute to achieving GUARDISATION.
• Provide leave and absence cover as required by TDDM.

Recruitment Specification (Essential and Desirable)
Essential to the role candidates must be able to provide as evidence or demonstrate through interview;

Essential
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Training environment, preferably with UK Armed Forces.
• Thorough understanding of the DSAT QS and its associated procedures, specifically in relation to setting of training requirements and Training Needs Analysis.
• Extensive experience of courseware development, preferably within a Training Development environment applying DSAT QS.
• Familiarity with a range of quality standards and models.
• Preparation of concise management reports in English.
• Planning and project management skills
• Design and preparation of spreadsheet solutions.
• Skilled in the use of MS Office software Word, Excel, Access and Project.
• Customer focus and good business sense.
• Have the highest level of personal and professional integrity.
• Strong negotiating and influencing skills.
• Have an analytical and logical approach.
• Be prepared to travel throughout KSA on a regular basis.
• Have excellent time management skills.
• Be fluent in Speaking, Reading, Writing and Listening in the English Language.
• Hold a valid driving license from country of origin.

Desirable
• The ability to motivate staff.

The ideal individuals for this role would probably be someone who has delivered training at one of the Military’s training bases, particularly from a trade training establishment delivering signals or communications training.

As this role is based in Saudi Arabia, candidates must meet all of the minimum qualifications as they are not bound by UK or EU Laws, also only individuals up to the age of 55 will be considered for any of these roles.
