Transport Manager - Chesterfield
Responsible to: - Chief Executive.
Hours: - 37.5 hours per week
Working location: - Chesterfield Depot
Key Responsibilities
� Overseeing that arrangements are made which comply with VOSA regulations for the proper maintenance of vehicles based at the depot to ensure a high standard is maintained.
� Supervise all operations from the depot, ensuring that scheduled services are undertaken by providing drivers with necessary support.
� Ensure that the depot based drivers, passenger assistants and volunteers maintain the expected high standards and performance required by the company.
� Maintain accurate records and ensure that tachograph records, vehicle log sheet, daily check sheets and other related documents are recorded correctly.
� Ensure that Health & Safety regulations are adhered to with responsibility for H&S at the depot.

� Leadership qualities and people management skills to maximize job satisfaction and motivation of the Chesterfield drivers and passenger assistants.
� Ability to communicate and convey with commitment and enthusiasm the ethos of Community Transport as an essential provider of transport facilities.
� Local geographical knowledge.
� Maintain a clean PCVD driving license.
� Certificate of Professional Competency in Passenger Transport
� Computer literate and accuracy in maintaining documents.
� An understanding of the social needs and expectations of our customers.
