Associate Security Risk Consultant vacancy in London/Extensive International Travel (010sk)

My client is a global provider of enhanced security solutions, they are currently seeking a highly experienced Security Consultant with the ability to communicate at all levels in Chinese Mandarin, the role is reportable to the Head of Risk Consulting and it will be based in their London office with task dependant travel.

Key Accountabilities:

• Deliver security risk consultancy services to national and international clients
• Prepare and deliver high quality security and risk related reports
• Ability to prepare and deliver security related training as required
• Understand and manage client expectations and requirements
• Satisfy client expectations and security consulting requirements
• Monitor security risk management developments, systems and standards
• Worldwide travel as required and appropriate

Skills and Experience:

• The candidate will be an effective self-starter with excellent inter personal skills, and a strong understanding of operations throughout the China region.
• Possessing a strong knowledge of integrated security systems and associated protective security strategies.
• They will have a strong knowledge and understanding of the risk management process and associated methodologies.
• Must possess identifiable experience of applying the risk management process to projects.
• Candidates will also have effective report writing and document production skills, incorporating excellent presentational and IT ability.
• Have extensive knowledge of current commercial security industry developments and current best practice.
• Possess a good understanding and experience of applying Project Management principles and requirements.
• Candidates will require to evidence demonstrable previous risk consulting experience.
• Proven experience in a risk management environment. Good commercial understanding – able to incorporate security risk into other business disciplines.
• Project management experience preferable
• Strong project management skills developed within a commercial/consulting environment
• Ability to analyse security risk environments and complex problems to identify vulnerabilities and derive mitigation options
• Strong business development skills
• Strong IT skills, proficient in Microsoft Office

Education and Experience:
• Educated to degree level or experience based alternative
• Relevant industry qualifications i.e. CPP, PSP (ASIS)
• Security Risk Management City & Guilds Level 4 minimum essential
• Prince 2 or equivalent Project Management desirable
