This Client is a fast-growing SME in the radio communications sector. With offices across the UK, its principal areas of business are systems design and installation, sales of equipment, equipment hire, repairs and maintenance and aerial and airtime rental.

They are now seeking 2 Field Engineers for their operations at Heathrow, they will be reporting to the Airport Service Delivery Manager and their role will be to carry out planned engineering installation work, respond to customer breakdowns and provide technical support for the company and its customers.

Therefore your main responsibilities will include:
• Attendance and completion of planned Installation Work, including vehicle and system installations
• Participation in the engineering call out Pager
• Attendance and rectification of customer break downs
• Support of Motorola WAVE for customers
• Radio programming and fleet planning
• Site surveys and report writing

To be eligible for this role you will need the following:

Qualifications
• Good standard of education.
• Good literacy and numeric skills.
• Basic Computer Skills
• CRB.
• Disclosure Scotland.
• RF Product Manufacturer Training/Certification
• IP Network Management Training/Certification

Experience
• RF Installation experience
• PMR/DMR products
• Experience in fault finding across a multitude of telecommunication platforms.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Advanced RF System Experience
• IP Networking Experience

Your package will depend on your qualifications and experience. Other benefits include 21 days paid holiday rising to 25 accruing from length of service plus bank and public holidays, life assurance of 4 times basic salary, compulsory pension provision etc.
