Experience of gardening or landscaping work is desirable, but not essential as training can be given. A positive attitude to all aspects of work is however vital. Much of the work is physically demanding so an appropriate degree of physical fitness is required. A full driving licence is also essential. The nature of the work requires long hours (~55 hours per week) during the summer through into autumn, but time at work will shorten as the hours of daylight decrease.
