Communications and Social Media Officer



A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Communications and Social Media Officer with experience in creating engaging content for websites and social media to join this dynamic charity based near Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire. You will be responsible for managing the website content and providing insight to help improve optimisation of the site and all available social media channels.



As the CSMO you will be developing website, digital and email content to help increase traffic and build engagement with SkillForce the charity and with its principal programme, The Prince William Award. You will also work with the CEO and other Directors to professionalise internal communications and deliver a new intranet. You will have the opportunity to make a genuine difference and have an instant impact in this new post at a time when the Prince William Award is in its early phase of rollout.

Skills required for the Communications and Social Media Officer are:



Strong experience working within a Digital/Content environment
Knowledge of a Content Management System (CMS)
Experience working with Analytics tools (preferably Google Analytics)
Knowledge of SEO and Optimisation principles
Experience in the full range of social media
Communications experience
Knowledge of advertising and marketing again principally through websites and social media
