You will be reporting to the Managing Director and you will have a team reporting to you consisting of Customer Services Co-ordinator, Despatch Co-ordinator, and Service Technician
Therefor your task will be to lead and manage the Operations Team to deliver excellent customer service, product delivery and aftersales technical support throughout the organization. The goal is to keep the department running in an efficient and profitable manner, to increase customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention and to meet their expectations.
Duties:
• Overseeing the general day to day running of the Operations Team
• Strategically plan and manage the Customer Services, Despatch and Aftersales Technical Support Teams in line with the Company Mission Statement.
• Supervise & Co-ordinate with the Customer Services Team to ensure ownership of customer issues and follow problems through to resolution
• Supervise & Co-ordinate with Despatch to ensure proper storage and distribution of our products
• Supervise and Co-ordinate with the After Sales Technical Support Team to deploy service engineers and identify the costs relating to the work.
• Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the Company Showrooms and Display Stands
• Working directly within the teams in all departments to resolve any outstanding issues
• Ensure all Teams keep accurate records and document customer service actions and discussions.
• Analyse statistics and compile accurate reports for Senior Management
• Recruit, mentor and develop the team in an environment where they can excel through encouragement and empowerment
• Keep ahead of Product developments and apply best practices to areas of improvement
• Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities
• Review Monitor and report on all Operational costs
• Report maintenance and repair needs for transportation vehicles and equipment
• Organize training for employees in the Operations Team
• Adhere to health and safety legislation taking responsibility for you own health and safety at work and that of others who may be affected by others
• Any other duties that are reasonably asked of you by management
To be eligible for this role you will need the following:
• Proven working experience as an Operations Manager in the Timber and Aluminium Windows and Doors Industry with underpinning knowledge of Customer Services, Despatch and Products
• Excellent knowledge of management methods and techniques
• Working knowledge of customer service software, databases and tools
• Awareness of industry’s latest technology trends and applications
• Strong client-facing and communication skills
• Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
• Customer service orientated
• Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
• Certified in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain
The ideal individual would be someone who has great attention to detail, but who can react to every changing and shifting priorities, but able to keep the long term goals in focus and to keep striving to achieve them.
