Facilities Manager vacancy in Aldgate, London (012jc)

My client, who is one of the UK’s leading independent management agents, are now looking for a Facilities Manager for one of its flagship locations based in Aldgate.

This role will be based at a development located Aldgate area. The development, consisting of over 1000 units, is located within a secure gated development and benefits from onsite parking facilities, Swimming pool, gym & spa & cinema. Nearby transport links include Aldgate and Aldgate East Train stations.

As the Facilities Manager, you will support the Estate Manager in the provision of high quality effective management services to the development. In this role, you will be responsible for the effective management of all maintenance service provided and you will ensure the development and maintenance of effective working relationships with all stakeholders including external contractors.

Other key responsibilities will include:

• Ordering of maintenance stock
• Managing external contractors and overseeing technical works
• Issue work Permits
• Supporting with the preparation of the monthly management reports
• Investigating major incidents

Skills and Experience
• Substantial prior experience gained within a similar role
• Excellent understanding of Health and Safety processes and RAMS
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Previous supervisory or managerial experience
• IOSH/NEBOSH qualification
