Site Agents vacancy in Oxford with travel (043jc)

My client, a Chartered Surveyors who is one of the leading firms that provide professional advice to the utility and infrastructure sectors are now looking for Site Agents to join their team on an initial one year contact, with possible extensions.

You role will be to assist in the Early Works for HS2, and you will be involved with the HS2 project between London and Leamington Spa, and you will be covering Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Warwickshire.

Your key responsibilities will involve day to day engagement with landowners/farmers and property owners along the route of the project. You need to be a confident “people person” with a desire to assist and help these parties. An understanding of rural ways of living and a basic agricultural knowledge is important. Previous experience on construction projects would be an advantage. You must also have your own car.

Your role will involve:
• Working with a team to support the HS2 project
• Establishing and maintaining close and effective relationships with clients, contractors and landowners
• Notifying and engaging with affected parties of planned works
• Being the first point of contact for affected parties and contractors on issues arising from works
• Producing photographic records of condition of land prior to entry
• Reporting on reinstatement requirements
• Providing client updates through the use of web based interactive mapping software
• Attendance of meetings on site and at client offices
