You will need to have extensive experience leading small teams on practical engineering tasks in field conditions. Teams will construct fabricated shelters for food distribution in various locations in north west and south west Uganda.
To be eligible for this role you will need the following:
• Excellent leadership, motivational and problem solving qualities required.
• Engineering background very desirable.
• Very good liaison and communication skills.
• Fit and robust, and prepared to live in field conditions in Uganda.
These roles would probably suit ex Royal Engineers, or personnel who have a strong construction background, especially in harsh locations, and for the Team Leader slots, which will be three of them, would probably be SNCO/WO, i.e. SSgt and up, and for the Foreman posts, which there will be nine of them, would be JNCO/SNCO Cpl and up to Sgt or similar.
In return the client is offering an excellent monthly payment, as well as all food, accommodation, travel and insurance being covered by them. Again please note that you will be working and living in the field and the facilities may be very basic to start.
