Reports to: Senior Project Manager or Project Manager
Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage on site project team ensuring cables are installed to the standard set by CET Ltd. Work closely with the Client and ensure that they are informed of the project status at all times and remedy issues at low level
Responsibilities:
Liaise with Client or Main Contractor
Measure progress on project with daily reports
Oversee work of Technician team including training and mentoring of junior members
Read construction drawings and review with contractor representative
Provide ongoing reports to the Senior Project Manager and Project Manager
Manage the team and ensure that they act with integrity at all times
Ensure installation and work conducted on site is of the highest standards
Ensure the company policies and procedures as outlined in Employee Handbook are implemented
Liaise with the Health and Safety manager to ensure all issues are addressed
Daily safety and equipment serviceability inspections
Review and collate test results once project is complete
Review quotes to confirm adherence to quote specifications and accuracy of quotes received
Ensure all health and safety precautions are adhered to
Ensure all security procedures are strictly adhered to i.e. Morning safety call
Review method statements
Be prepared to work on any of the sites serviced by CET
Travel is a requirement of the position
Communicate with the contractor representative to ensure that all aspects of the project are being met to the satisfaction of the contractor
Attend weekly progress meeting with Senior management.
Carry out any general duties and other ad hoc duties as assigned
General Requirements for position:
Previous experience working on Building Sites or Data Centres is essential
Accreditation from one or more of the leading manufacturers an advantage
People management skills essential
Possess good communication skills
Must have a valid ECS card
Must have valid and in date First Aid at Work qualification
Working at heights an advantage
MEWP or Hoist Operator training (not essential but would be an advantage)
Must have exceptional attention to detail
Must have the ability to troubleshoot issues on the fly
Own transport essential
