Maintenance Manager vacancy in Wandsworth (136jc)

My client is an innovative and forward-thinking Property Management company are now seeking an additional Maintenance Manager to join them at this Wandsworth site.

This role will be based at a development located in Wandsworth within easy reach of Wandsworth Town station. The development contains 1245 residential units spread across 16 buildings and benefits from various the on-site facilities including a resident’s car park, gym and business centre.

As a Maintenance Manager you will assist the Development Manager in the provision of high quality effective management services to the development. You will also supervise and monitor the contractor performance.

Key duties will also include:
• To manage the site based maintenance staff in conjunction with the Managing Agent to include regular staff appraisals and personal development plans, preparation of agreed work rotas and the setting of daily tasks for the staff.
• The Maintenance Manager is expected to be flexible and undertake reasonable additional duties as required by the managing agent and client.
• To assist with contractor management, ensuring that all planned maintenance is carried out in line with the servicing schedule.
• To be responsible for all matters of Health & Safety nature, relating to the development. This includes assessing training needs, maintenance of log books, accident reporting procedures, compliance with COSHH regulations and contractor permit to work procedures.

Skills and Experience:
• Contractors management
• Staff delegation
• IOSH Qualified (ideally)
• NEBOSH Qualified (ideally)

This is a full-time role and your hours will be Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:30.
