Project Manager vacancy in Wimborne, Dorset (155jc)

My client, who is a past winner of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise are now seeking to recruit a Project Manager for a 6-month contract.

They are now seeking to recruit an experienced Project Manager (6 months contract) to ensure that all their research and development projects are delivered on-time.

You will be reporting to the executive management team and your role will be as follows:
• To provide effective communication of goals and timelines to all members of the R&D team to ensure project requirements are delivered on time
• Co-ordinate the team members to achieve goals by encouraging discussions, planning, directing and controlling activities
• Work with the R&D managers and team leaders to allocate resources to projects
• Provide status reports to management and to other areas of the business such as production and sales
• Co-ordinate resources to best solve problems and make decisions

To be considered for this role, you will need the following:
• Previous experience within R&D Project Management (at least 5 years)
• Experience of working within an R&D environment, including the specialisms of mechanical design, electronics design and software
• Proven experience of managing multiple projects within an R&D environment
• Must possess excellent communication, team management, leadership and personal organisational skills
• Self-motivated and be comfortable working within a multi-discipline team
• Looking forward to working on products which make a difference in medical research

In return they are offering a good daily rate of between £200 - £250 per day, with 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays (pro rata), free parking, and child care voucher scheme.
