Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer vacancy in Bishops Stortford (204jc)

My client, is an established and expanding company in the HVAC sector, and they have a prestigious number of contracts covering London and the Home Counties and they are now seeking due to company expansion an additional Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to join this expanding team.

Their clients are managing agents, property owners, residential management committees, consulting engineers and facilities managers. They work with their clients to build and maintain relationships that deliver the highest possible standards in building maintenance

Your role overview will be:
• Working mainly in large residential blocks, commercial offices and schools providing commercial gas boiler maintenance, repairs and minor installation works on both aged traditional plant to modern energy centres as a mobile engineer.
• The vast majority of works will be within plant rooms with all associated equipment, hence a working knowledge of heating distribution and ventilation systems is essential. Routine mechanical maintenance of associated plant items such as pumps, heat exchangers, pressure vessels and valves will also form part of the role.
• Key to the role is supporting other trades within the company where gas related faults or problems have been identified, which will require good fault-finding skills across a diverse range of boiler manufacturers and systems. My client provides a 24/7/365 call out service, all engineers form part of this on a rotational basis and is a key element of the job.

To be eligible for this role you will need:
• You must have current commercial gas certificates.
• You will also need to be living within commutable distance to Central London.
• A full UK driving licence is essential plus clear DBS check.

The bulk of the role is 99% based within the M25, and the HQ is based in Hertfordshire.

They are offering a salary of up to £43k, depending on qualifications and experience, with a potential £5k in overtime per annum. You will need to live within the M25 or within 10 miles of it, as there are early starts, 8am. There is overtime available as well as call out payments.
