Senior Test Development Engineer vacancy in Loudwater, High Wycombe (289jc)

My client has delivered specialist defence equipment for over 30 years are now seeking a Senior Test Development Engineer to join their team.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
• Take overall responsibility for addressing all test related safety issues. Ensuring all regulatory safety requirements are met.
• Develop Testing documentation (Product Test Schedule) in line with the Design Specification and Product Acceptance Test Specification
• Author supporting documentation (Test reports, Software Index, Calibration Procedure, Work Instructions)
• Monitor test times against product unit price close and implement improvements to test equipment and processes
• Conduct equipment Risk Assessments and ensure recommendations are put in place

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
• HNC/HND or Degree in Electronic Engineering
• Experience in delivering engineering development environment
• Proven track record in the development/management/provision of Test Facilities
• The successful candidate must be capable of achieving security (SC) clearance as a minimum
• Background in defence is desirable
• Occasional travel and off -site work with overnight stay as required
