BFT (Basic Flying Training) Qualified Instructor vacancy in RAF Valley (318jc)

My client who are an organisation that deliver continuous training and development to the MoD are now seeking an BFT (Basic Flying Training) Qualified Instructor to join their expanding team.

To purpose of this role is to deliver ground based and synthetic training as part of the UKMTS program. Responsible for the delivery of classroom and simulator instruction to future and current aircrew.

Therefore, your key responsibilities will include:
• Instruction of relevant aspects of the BFT syllabus in accordance with the published curriculum and training schedule
• Delivery of phase briefs, technical lessons, practical demonstrations and synthetic sorties
• Use of all classroom devices as directed by the Ascent Training Strategy
• Direction of recommendation to the BFT Chief Pilot for any courseware changes

To be eligible for this role, you will need the following knowledge, skills, and experience
Essential:
• Previous experience as a pilot teaching as a ground instructor or aircrew instructor (or civilian equivalent)
• Computer fluency to include Windows, Microsoft Office Suite and Explorer
Desirable:
• Previous military flying experience
• Previous experience instructing in a flying training groundschool (military or civilian)
• Previous instructional experience within Basic Flying Training
