Export and Event Administrator (347bh)

You will provide the Chief Executive with full administrative support to allow him to plan and manage events for our exporters. Your duties will include liaising and negotiating with venues and sponsors, issuing invitations, compiling delegate lists, sending reminder notifications to delegates prior to the event to ensure they have all the necessary details and attendance at the events.
In addition, and after appropriate training, you will be expected to give exporters guidance on how to complete the necessary official documents, and then review these documents to verify their accuracy before they are submitted.
Previous experience of working in a busy office is essential and you should possess an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Strong organisation skills, accuracy and attention to detail are also required. This is a very customer-focused role so you must possess exceptional communication skills, and always have a friendly and professional manner. You must be comfortable dealing with people at all levels, from administrator to senior executives.
In return this client is offering a three-year, fixed term contract with a competitive salary and generous pension contributions, along with 32 days’ paid holiday entitlement (including public holidays). Additional unpaid leave is offered to employees who are registered military Reservists.
