Their Keyper HSM, the only FIPS 140-3 level 4 HSM in the world, is used by ICANN to help secure the Internet DNS system, and also by many other organisations such as Mastercard, Apple, Google, VeriSign and Shell. They have also developed, and continue to develop next generation, High Grade and Commercial cryptographic products for the UK MoD and export markets. Due to recent contract awards and growth of the business, the Communication Systems Business Unit of The Company is expanding, and actively recruiting for a Head of Software, who can demonstrate:
• Previous experience of line management, resource management and implementing process improvements.
• Significant experience of embedded product development (bare-metal and RTOS) using best practice over the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience of Windows, Python and Linux application and driver development advantageous.
• Advanced knowledge of software engineering practices, methodologies, processes, techniques and technology trends.
• Experience of DOORS, TDD, GoogleTest, Jenkins, CodeSonar, JIRA, UML and SysML would be advantageous.
• Degree in an engineering, mathematical or science-based subject desirable.
• Willing and able to obtain, and maintain, DV security clearance.
