• This role will suit someone with good knowledge of communication systems engineering and a strong background in digital signal processing.
• An advantage to have worked in software radio, or a related discipline.
• A pragmatic approach to the implementation of such equipment is essential, along with a solid understanding of real-world constraints.
• You will be responsible for defining the system architecture, including ADCs / DACs and signal processing hardware and algorithms.
• You need to be familiar with cutting edge data-converter products and the design trade-offs between them.
• You will produce simulations, probably in MATLAB, to model the system, including converter and fixed-point impairments.
