You will be reporting to the Managing Director and your role will be to identify, liaise and visit with leads across a specific territory in order to offer them our cutting-edge geodesic domes, hydroponic and aquaponic products and services.
Our Customers use these products to understand how solar energy can be harnessed to power a miniature ecosystem in a bubble with plants and fish living in harmony. We aim to transform the lives and awareness of young people throughout the UK by giving them resources to learn about sustainable food and energy production. Sales representatives will also be expected to closely monitor and track their activities and provide feedback on adjustments that can be made to the sales process when reporting to the leadership team. Therefore, your responsibilities:
• Make face-to-face sales with any consumers, as well as travel to meet with potential clients
• Reach out to our customer leads database through cold calling and outbound calls Market to prospective customers through emails
• Continuously improve through feedback
• Find new and innovative ways of meeting the demands and needs of customers Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education
• Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs Prepare reports for head office and keep customer records
• Analyse the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
• Provide training and produce support material for other members of the sales team. Work on after-sales support services and provide technical back up as required Analyse the competition to prevent a decline in sales and maintain market share
• A solid technical background in sales or the ability to acquire it.
• Excellent communication skills

• The ability to build and maintain relationships quickly and effectively analytical and problem-solving skills
• Resilience and tenacity independence and self-reliance.
To be eligible for this role you will need the following Qualifications and Experience:
Experience in a commercial and/or sales environment to show you have the necessary skills to accompany any existing technical knowledge. Experience of selling higher ticket items with longer business cycles. (i.e. £25,000 plus- 3-6month sales cycles) Experience in the design or manufacture of products may also be helpful. Knowledge and experience in selling to the educational sector will be highly beneficial. It will be useful but not necessary to have experience of studying; Applied science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Biology or Design but in-house product training will be provided.
In return they are offering a good starting salary with uncapped commission, which should help you achieve a realistic OTE of £60k, as well as joining in at the ground floor in this rapidly expanding green company.
