About the role

You will service, repair, diagnose, inspect and support in the refurbishment of tracked and wheeled military vehicles and mechanical equipment associated with military use.

This is an exciting position to join a supportive team of four, with opportunities for further training and developments.


Other main tasks will include:
• Carry out work to the required standard and specification in accordance with the customer requirements, current regulations, local instructions, processes and technical publications
• To be responsible and accountable for the quality of own work by signature at inspection, and the completion of associated documentation in support of inspection/repair
• Perform Basic engineering skills including fabrication and repair of weapon components, carry out general manufacture and repair tasks

What do I need to do the role?
• You will be a Class 1 Armourer (essential)
• C&G Level 3, ONC or NVQ Level 3 qualification within a related Trade (highly desirable)

The position would likely suit an individual from a military background.

What else do I need to know?

• Working hours are Monday to Thursday 7:30 – 16:00 and Friday 7:30 – 12:30
