Live-in security officer vacancy in Berkshire (154se)

You will be responsible for the physical security of the estate including being a visible deterrent to vandalism and theft, as well as being responsible for the overall safety and well-being of staff and visitors. You will need to be a strong team player with excellent time management, interpersonal skills and a strong critical thinker and problem solver.

To be eligible for this role you will need the following:
• SIA or another recognised accreditation required along with basic first aid
• 5 Years security experience required
• Outstanding surveillance and observation skills required
• 5 years’ experience of surveillance systems essential.
• Excellent understanding of legal guidelines surrounding security and public safety.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of English.
• Experience of report writing.
• Full UK driving licence essential.

This role would suit either a single or married individual, however, due to the nature of the free accommodation, no children are permitted, as it is a single bedroom flat. The ideal candidate would probably be someone who has spent several years within the service and is seeking a role where they can settle into for a number of years, and due to the nature of the estate, which is being developed at the moment, there may be additional roles and responsibilities coming down the line.

There also may be options for the spouse or partner to have potential employment opportunities if they wish to, as part of the estate has a dressage stables for example.
