Our Client is looking to employ a Senior System Engineer to join their growing team working with the Engineering Manager.

Purpose
Reporting to the Engineering Manager the System Support Engineer will be part of a team consisting of service and support engineers. The team is responsible for.

Remedial Maintenance - Responding to Customer reported incidents (via service desk) within an SLA framework, ensuring all incidents are resolved or service restored within SLA.
Minor Works - Ensuring Customers requests (Moves, Adds, Changes or Cancellations) are delivered within expected timeframes and to budget.
Preventative Maintenance Inspections – Carrying out Preventative Maintenance Inspections on Companies contracted equipment.
Installations – Installation of equipment and services at Hinkley
Project Delivery – To deliver to industry standards and against agreed timescales & budget.

The technology scope is predominately cellular based with additional service scope including Unified Comms, Network, Wireless and M2M related technologies that, form part of shared platforms or dedicated solutions for customers,
This role will work closely with other Operational functions to ensure that multi-technology solutions are delivered and supported seamlessly for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
• Ensure that the overall performance of Service meets customer service level requirements & Service performance targets.
• Complete RAMS to point of sign off and to oversee the completion of peers. documentation where required.
• Maintaining customer satisfaction as per set targets and objectives.
• Ensuring HR procedures are followed.
• Ensure each and all functions within Service operate in compliance with all SHEQ (Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality) & legal.
• Ensure all timesheets are completed and submitted in timely manner with correct use of project codes.
• Ensure all expenses are completed and submitted in a timely manner with correct use of project codes.
• Working with peers to ensure optimal delivery of projects. Ensure all activities are completed in conjunction with Companies BMS and agreed objectives.
• Ensure all service requests are completed within agreed SLA.
• Ensure all service tickets raised on SME are completed in a timely manner against our SLA’s.
• To promote all departments and products within Companies
• To comply with all Companies working practices as per Operators Manual.
• As escalated by the Service Manager, attend and complete service tickets received from the NOC in a timely manner to meet customer SLA.
• To deliver Client Projects as requested. This includes the installation and testing of IBDAS and may require night working to deliver these areas due to the nature of the technology.
• Ensure company vehicles are kept to an appropriate level of cleanliness to promote the standard of Companies when in the customer environment.
• To assist with the on-call Rota.
• To complete all training as required enabling knowledge base to grow with Companies infrastructure.
• To be able to train your peers to an acceptable standard on faults and PMI’s.
• To complete and supply BAS (costing against scope) as required.
• To be technical point of escalation for customers throughout project delivery

Key Qualifications and Experience.
• Excellent cellular, Unified Comms and/or Network and I.T. technical and industry knowledge.
• Excellent client facing skills with very strong verbal & written communication.
• Excellent RF knowledge including an understanding of DMR Tier III infrastructure, radio configuration for end user devices and general radio system design.
• Knowledge / experience of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS)
• Good IT knowledge including IP network structure.
• Project delivery to agreed timescales and within budget.
• Able to work under own initiative and within a team environment.
• Clean driving license
• Experience of working under pressurized situations in delivering service & response activities.
• where strict SLAs are to be met.
