They offer specialist services in the spark detection and extinguishing systems and are looking for individuals who have solid electrical engineering backgrounds who can be cross trained on their systems.
You will be reporting to the Service Manager, and your role will be to plan and carry out installation, commissioning, maintenance, and other technical support for their spark detection systems, with customers located throughout the UK and Ireland once fully trained.
Therefore, your main responsibilities will include:
• Travel to customer sites with the Senior Engineers and carry out commissioning, service and maintenance of the company equipment, during your initial 3- 4 months in house training program and once regulations are lifted, travel to Germany to attend a training academy at the Head Office as well as regular refresher courses on going.
• And once trained and confident, respond to reactive breakdowns and carry out fault finding and diagnostics.
• Work with 24v DC, 230v and 415v AC supplies.
To be eligible for this role, you will need:
• Strong electrical engineering background with a relevant qualification.
• Mechanical knowledge (pipework, pumps)
• Ability to work with single phase and 3 phase systems.
• Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills with the ability to read electrical engineering schematics.
• Flexible approach to staying away from home during the working week.
• Must be able to work at height.
• Hold full clean driving licence.
The ideal candidate would probably come from either a RE or REME or similar background, who has a strong background in electromechanical systems and is looking for a new career in a fast growing and dynamic background who is seeking to start a new career, anyone with 18th Edition would be at a distinct advantage. He is looking for 2 personnel at this stage and can offer immediate starts for the right individuals.
In return they are offering an excellent starting salary, with a 40-hr week, overtime, company vehicle, phone. 25 days plus Bank Holidays, pension scheme, employee discount scheme, health cash plan and full product training.
