Role: Trainee Geotechnical Engineer
Location: Hugglescote, Leicestershire
Salary: £21,000 – £24,000, depending on experience. For candidates with experience in geotechnical engineering, higher salaries are available.

Role Description
As a Geotechnical Engineer, you are responsible for understanding how the environment can affect potential construction or engineering projects. This can range from supporting with research on an area, to drilling into soil and carrying out analysis of the ground materials.

The role involves a mixture of being on site and getting your hands dirty, to liaising with customers to delivering reports.

• Being able to provide colleagues and customers with a positive experience by demonstrating a high degree of professionalism.
• Strong investigative natures, identify all potential challenges that the environment has concerning construction or civil engineering projects.
• A willingness to learn more about geotechnical engineering.
• Ability to provide accurate reports.
