You will be reporting to the Sales Manager and your role will be to assist in providing for owners and prospective owners, services and products which enable them and their families to happily enjoy holiday home ownership in a safe, secure, and appealing environment.
Therefore, your key responsibilities will include:
Building Customer Relationships
• Developing and maintaining business relationships with owners, prospective owners.
• Providing prospective customers with information to assist them in deciding whether holiday ownership is right for them.
• Receiving and understanding information from prospective customers and providing appropriate solutions
• Acting on customer queries and feedback in the interest of the customer and the operation
• Deal effectively and efficiently with customer complaints following the Company guidelines/Best Practices.
• Ensuring the delivery of caravan ownership to the agreed standards
Financial Performance
• Setting and achieving personal and team financial and performance targets
• Contributing towards maximising the overall profits of the department through the sale of holiday homes
• Effectively maintaining and following through all sales leads in line with business needs.
Communicating Effectively (externally)
• Following the Company guidelines/Best Practices when communicating with external contractors and suppliers
Communicating Effectively (internally)
• Attending and contributing at team meetings
• Establishing and communicating individual and team goals
• Developing and maintaining relationships with team members through continuous support, coaching and shadowing
Team Effectiveness
• Assisting in training and motivating all new and existing team members to meet the needs of the business.
• Attending and contributing in regular team events, team building exercises and incentive programmes.
Administration
• Adhering to Company administration procedures, including monetary transactions
• Reporting weekly figures to Sales Manager and Administrator
• Maximising the use of the prospect system.
Compliance/Legislation
• Adhering to all Company procedures, Best Practices and branding guidelines
• Following all relevant legislation including health and safety, site licence, fire, employment, and trading standards – consumer credit act
• Providing a safe and secure environment for all customers and team members
Maintaining The Working Environment
• Ensuring that all stock on the show ground or in caravan storage areas is presentable.
• Ensuring that all offices, customer areas and vehicles are presentable.
Team Support
In addition to your normal duties, you may be required to assist with duties not directly linked to your job description but commensurate with your position and in accordance with the job purpose from time to time. Your cooperation will always be appreciated but not abused.
The ideal candidate would be someone who thrives on hitting targets and who can deal with the public on a daily basis, their best candidates have already come from such sales backgrounds such as estate agents, car sales and alike.
