My client and expanding communications engineering company with nationwide contracts are now seeking a Resource Planner to work as part of a team in their HQ in Stevenage.

This is a shift based role where you will be working 12 hour shift on a 4 days on and 4 days off rota.

You will be reporting to the Resource Planning Manager and you principal job responsibilities will include:-
• Working as part of a team responsible for the scheduling of over 1200 field based engineers
• Maintaining planning and wages rotas for field based engineers
• Liaising with various managers, business partners and call centre operatives relating to day to day requests
• Ensuring that set procedures are followed and standards of work are kept high
• Providing the warehouse with lists of engineers working in areas on a specific day
• Maintaining various reports relating to issued work, completions and productivity
• Coordinating changes to jobs and schedules for internal customers
• Providing first level support to field base engineers for their PDA’s
• Transferring stock details between engineers in the field
• Dealing with a range of queries, bookings and requests from customers throughout the course of the day
• Carrying out other duties as directed by the Resource Planning Manager

Your responsibilities and authority will include:-
• Ensuring that all staff responsibilities are met in accordance with company procedures and the Company and Health and Safety Handbook
• Ensuring that the overall quality and security objectives are met, particularly in respect of business processes
• Understanding the need for confidentiality when dealing with both internal and external information
• Understanding contractual requirements to maintain integrity of data and the availability of the service at all times
• Maintaining a high level of personal integrity and full appreciation of legal requirements regarding data protection and computer misuse

To be eligible for this role you will need the following skills and experience
• Highly Accurate in administration
• Self motivated and conscientious
• Enthusiastic and willing to expand role
• Good computing skills (Excel)
• Flexible to work additional and varied hours when necessary, to meet the demands of the job.
