Business Development Manager – Aviation Software (438jc) vacancy in East Kilbride ()

We are currently recruiting for a business development manager to join our clients Aviation team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be involved in working alongside the sales and marketing team and assisting them by proactively generating sales leads, handling and qualifying initial sales enquiries and assisting with industry trade shows and exhibitions.

Key responsibilities include:
• Handling and qualifying sales enquiries via telephone and email
• Carrying out sales lead generation campaigns (both telephone and email) on defined aviation market segments
• Generating new business opportunities from existing Gael customers
• Delivering sales overview presentations on the Gael product range
• Updating Gael’s Customer Relationship Management system (Sage) with business development activities and customer information
• Assisting on industry trade shows and exhibitions (travel will be required)

To be considered for these important positions, you must have the following skills / experience:
• Be educated to at least degree level or equivalent
• Have experience of IT and software packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Show enthusiasm, with high motivation and a results driven mentality
• Possess excellent communication skills, both written and orally
