Project Manager Electronic Warfare (037jc) vacancy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia ()

My client is now seeking a Project Manager EW for their operations in Saudi Arabia, you will be reporting to the Head Of Implementation.

Your primary objectives and functions will include:-
• Accountable to the Programme Manager EW IPT for the effective delivery of projects assigned as part of the programme.
• Accountable for management throughout all stages of the project lifecycle from design through to implementation, customer acceptance and technical transfer into operational use.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In order to deliver projects in line with customers key user requirements, the Project Manager EW IPT will:
• Have a full understanding of the customer requirements with the aim of meeting or exceeding major milestones.
• Manage the customer expectations by reflecting them in clear plans and reporting them accurately and capturing any variations.
• Develop an excellent working relationship with the customer and supplier base.
• Demonstrate a professional approach to project planning and control.
• Anticipate and be proactive in controlling project activities in a pressurized environment to meet deadlines.
• Ensure risks are identified, defined, reported and that a mitigation plan is in place.
• Act decisively and communicate effectively.

As well as conduct regular reviews with senior staff on the progress of the projects.

RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION (Knowledge & Experience):
• Relevant first Degree, or appropriate experience.
• Formal PM Qualification.
• Practical knowledge of communications and associated networks from an EW bias.
• Proven track record of delivery in similar role/s.
• Experience of delivering in the specific field of technology/business.
• Sound leadership and problem solving skills.
• Ability to lead a multi-disciplined project team.
• Effective and persuasive communicator.
• Fully conversant with MS Office Packages including: Word, PP, Excel, Visio and Access.

DESIRABLE
• Experience of work within a commercial and military environment.
• Experience of operating in a business relationship based on partnering.

As this role is based in Saudi Arabia, candidates must meet all of the minimum qualifications as they are not bound by UK or EU Laws, also individuals over the age of 50 will also not be considered for any of these roles.
