Trainee Sales (131ne) vacancy in Middlesex ()

My client is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of equipment for Comms, Radio, EW and ECM RF testing are now seeking a Trainee – Sales to be responsible for maximising profitable orders and sales in the given market segment on a worldwide basis. Works will be assisted by the territorial sales managers and a network of independent agents. The role will ensure customers receive a top quality sales service from the company prior to, during and after sales.

Main Duties:
• Acting as a key player in the sales and Marketing team. Primary focus on ‘ORDER RECEIVED’ position and achieving order intake targets.
• Establish and maintain contact with key customers.
• Establish accurate phased order forecasts from customers and complete necessary actions to maximise probabilities of orders
• Prepare proposals/quotations ensuring they are logged correctly and submitted to customers.
• Book/request customer visits – and accompany sales manager on visits if needs be.
• Write reports for all customer visits.
• Ensure you are briefed adequately for geographically distant customers.
• Recommend exhibitions based on company overall marketing plan ensuring the best media is used.
• Maintain order prospect base ensuring it is compatible with order forecast on the Master schedule.
• Budget orders on an annual basis
• Achieving agreed set sales targets
• Gather information on competitors and maintain competitor file
• Report on all major opportunities and input details into the S.D report
• Activate and manage bid reviews
• General Administration
• Undertake any other task which may be reasonably requested
• Perform duties with respect to all company procedures.

Qualifications
• 2nd class degree in related subject
Desirable
• previous role in manufacturing or defence industry
