My client, who is a major telecoms provider, is now seeking Level 2 Integrated Telephone Systems instructor for their operations in Saudi Arabia, you will be reporting to the Technical Training Manager.

Your primary objective and function will be to deliver and support level 2 (intermediate) technical training to NGSC Technicians in the field of Integrated Telephone Systems (ITS).

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
• Deliver ITS Training to National Guard Signal Corps students and technicians.
• Deliver Regional ITS Training as required by the Technical Training Manger
• To teach Telecommunication Principles and International Computer Driving License (ICDL)
• To teach, when required at least one secondary subject: Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH), Digital Microwave Radio System (DMRS), Secure Mobile Radio Systems (SMR), HF Radio, VSAT, Network Management System (NMS) Cryptographic equipment, IP data network.
• To produce material to support training in the form of, but not limited to; pamphlets, hand-outs, presentation and weekly tests.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for ITS and produce Section 2 (Execution) of Instructional Specifications (ISpecs) for all ITS courses.
• Provide advice to Course Developers as required.
• Provide written reports on a weekly basis for all students, to include; weekly test results, discipline issues, performance and remedial measures.
• To assist in the installation, repair and maintenance of technical equipment related to the primary subject.
• Liaise with other departments as directed by the Technical Training Manager.
• To develop and maintain good relationship with the National Guard Assistant Instructor.
• Any other duties as directed by the Technical Training Manager.

Contact with Others (Internals/external/Meetings):
• High level of external contact with customer
• High level of internal contact within section
• Medium level of internal contact with Training Development Departments.
Meetings: As directed by Head of Training Delivery

Judgements/Decision making authority (Specific Responsibilities):
• ITS Course delivery to NGSC students (including methodology and media selection)
• Class management and reporting
• Advising and inputting significantly on course development SME for ITS

Recruitment Specification (Knowledge and Experience):
• NVQ Level 4 in Telecommunications related field or, exceptionally, NVQ Level 3
• Must provide recent evidence of delivering training courses in Telecommunications or related field.
• Must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Integrated Telephone System Exchange such as Nortel Meridian PABX, network components, network management, fault-finding, maintenance and repair.
• Experience of working in the Middle East is desirable, as is experience of work within a military environment.
• Must possess an excellent knowledge of instructional methodology and have the skills to exploit new methods and media to encourage learning.
• Must be computer literate and show evidence of using multimedia to provide learning solutions.
• Must provide evidence of class management and reporting.
• Must be a self-starter with high levels of personal integrity and be customer focused.
• Must be an active team member committed to delivering first class learning solutions to the customer.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Must hold a valid driving license from country of origin.

As this role is based in Saudi Arabia, candidates must meet all of the minimum qualifications as they are not bound by UK or EU Laws, also individuals over the age of 50 will also not be considered for any of these roles.
