Electronics Maintenance Engineer (210ne) vacancy in Middlesex ()

Our Client is seeking a suitably qualified Electronics Maintenance Engineer to provide specialist, hands-on practical, maintenance support for the Tubes Division Manufacturing Equipment. This role will be a combination of priority maintenance and repair, and preventative maintenance. It will also combine electrical/electronic and mechanical skills.

Main Duties
• First Line finding and fixing of faults on all Tubes manufacturing equipment.
• Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance.
• Overhauling and replacing parts according to schedule.
• Responding immediately to and diagnosing emergency or unplanned machinery breakdowns.
• Creating maintenance strategies, procedures and methods for existing and new equipment.
• Controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment.
• Dealing with emergency and unplanned problems and repairs.
• Advising on selection of new manufacturing equipment.
• Be prepared to carry out any reasonable task as requested.
• Comply with Company Health and Safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:
• HNC or equiv in equipment maintenance, engineering or similar

Essential:
• Advanced knowledge in a similar role.
• Ability to liaise with suppliers to expedite repairs requiring external support.

Desirables:
• Specialist vacuum systems knowledge, repair and maintenance of complex electronic, test and electro-mechanical systems under time constraints.

For this role our Client is seeking a candidate who can work under pressure, is a fast thinker and well disciplined. Exposure to Electronics, microwaves and high vacuum will be a huge advantage.
