My client is now looking for a Lecturer to join their team at Bordon to work within the Engineering Science team.

Job Description
My client wishes to appoint a Lecturer in Engineering to work within the Engineering Science Department, initially to be based in BORDON with the potential of transferring to Lyneham in September.

You will be reporting to t to the Head of the Engineering Science Department and your responsibilities will include:-
Working as part of the Engineering Science Team the job holder’s key responsibilities will be as follows:
• Deliver two (or more) of the following subjects at HND Level 4/5 Engineering Science Mathematics Mechanical Principles
• Associated marking, class management and lesson preparation

Qualifications & Requirements
Knowledge, Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:
• Degree in a Mathematics, Appropriate Science or Engineering Discipline
• Working experience in an Engineering Environment
• Ability to achieve PTLLS then CTLLS (Cert Ed or equivalent) Competencies
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work on their own when required
• Computer literate, use of new teaching technology
• Team player
• Flexible approach to work
• Competency applicable to the post.

Description of Location
Initially based in Bordon, Hampshire, with the potential to move to Lyneham in September 2015, at which point this role will be reviewed.
