My client is a logistics company who is a leading distributor of specialist building products in Europe are now currently seeking an Internal Sales Representative.

The Group principally operates in 9 countries in Europe and has trading operations in a further 6, including countries in the Middle East, serving a wide range of trades in the building and construction markets.

You will be reporting to the Sales Manager and you will need to build key relationships with the Branch Manager, other Sales personnel and suppliers and your objectives will be to achieve sales plan and margins.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Manage existing accounts to achieve maximum business through them.
• Open new accounts and ensure that they develop profitably.
• Accurately take and input orders onto the system.
• Make proactive sales calls to lapsed accounts and potential new business.
• Use CRM system effectively.
• Any other reasonable duties within the individual’s capabilities.

• Results in terms of sales and margin
• Customer retention and feedback
• Feedback from colleagues
• Number of calls answered/ customers served
• Accuracy of order inputting – credit notes issued

To be eligible for this role you will need the following skills, knowledge and experience:
• Good data accuracy
• Good level of literacy
• Good level of numeracy
• Previous internal sales experience
• Product Knowledge
• Over two years internal sales experience
• Sales experience in a construction related distributor
• Experience of Salesforce or other CRM system
