Cuerden Consulting Limited (www.cuerdenconsulting.com) is a dynamic and well respected training design and development consultancy based in Swindon. Our team of qualified Training Analysts & Learning Consultants work with a broad range of clients to review and improve existing training and to analyse and design new training solutions. We undertake work in both the civilian and MOD sectors.

Examples include support for training transformations, course compression, development of LMS/LCMS solutions, design and creation of competency frameworks and training scenario design. We also provide e-learning and multimedia content development and have an in house team of instructional designers and developers.

To meet the increasing demands of the business we are now recruiting for the following role on a permanent or associate basis.

Training Consultant/Analyst
Candidate attributes
• Identify new business opportunities and win contracts.
• Be able to develop exceptional client facing relationships and manage them.
• Have the cerebral capacity and intellect to grasp issues quickly and the ability to analyse and conduct the necessary research to shape logical and robust options.
• Have the persona to instil client confidence in your abilities.
• Be able to chair meetings and decision-making fora with total confidence.
• Be inclusive and able to work within a team or alone.
• Have a thorough knowledge of the UK Defence sector.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of JSP 822 and the formal analysis of training.
• Must have experience of the assurance or production of formal training needs analysis.
• Have thorough and current knowledge of UK Armed Forces modus operandi.
• Be flexible and able to work from a variety of client locations, possibly for prolonged periods of time.
• Either hold or be able to get UK government security clearance.
This role would be ideal for someone who has experience of working in a Training Development Team or similar environment.
In return the successful candidate will receive a very competitive salary, access to the group pension scheme and death in service benefit with 25 days paid holiday plus the 8 statutory holidays per year.

Applicants require to be able to commute to the Swindon office and be able to work away on client locations, sometimes for prolonged periods.
