You will hold a relevant engineering qualification - ideally degree or equivalent in a related discipline; however industry experience is the key requisite to assuring that our engineering curriculum remains current and relevant to the many employers that we support and the many learners who aspire to progress their apprenticeship, employment or Higher Education aims.

We would particularly welcome applications from teachers who could contribute to the delivery of mathematics, mechanical principles, and electrical / electronic principles (including PLCs or relevant technology) and teachers with experience in commercial manufacturing operations and design principles or machining, hand fitting and fabrication techniques. A relevant qualification in these would be an advantage.
You will hold a teaching qualification and A1/V1 Assessor Awards and the post will be initially located at our Oxford City campus before our new STEM centre opens in September 2015 at Blackbird Leys.
