Facilities Manager vacancy in Brent, London ()

This September, Copland Community School in Wembley will become an ARK school and will be called ARK Elvin Academy. We are looking for a dedicated Facilities Manager to provide a high quality service, ensuring the academy's buildings and grounds are maintained and run efficiently.

The school is an important part of its local community, but it has faced recent challenges including an inadequate Ofsted judgement and a falling school roll. We are working hard to give all pupils at the school an excellent education, and we hope you will build on this.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and operation of the academy's premises, including buildings and grounds maintenance, security, cleaning and management of contractors across the academy site. They will also line manage the premises team and ensure good sustainable and value for money principles are followed.

Ideal candidates will:
- have experience of building maintenance, ideally within an educational setting
- have strong oral and written communication skills
- be an excellent team leader
- have a strong commitment to providing a high quality service
- have knowledge and experience of using Building Management Systems
- possess a genuine belief in the potential of every pupil.
