Executive Assistant (279jc) vacancy in London with Travel ()

My client, is an Isle of Man based Financial Services company, who have been established since the early 70’s and have funds in excess of $8 billion are now looking to recruit this key role within the company.

They have currently 55 personnel working in the company and are looking to expand to about 100 personnel within the next 3-4 years, and are seeking an individual for this key role to help them achieve their goals.

You will be reporting to the COO and you will be responsible for the day to day operations of the company, freeing up the COO to concentrate on Policy, Strategic and Commercial Operations.

Therefor your role will be to work will consist of:-
• Review of current projects, making sure that all information is correctly recorded and submitted to the relevant authorities.
• With the COO, general overhaul of the company structure, and putting in place objectives and mile points in the overall planning to make sure that the company is achieving the growth and business development structure that is needed.
• Liaising with regulatory authorities, and after training, acting as the company spokesperson with them.
• Assisting with the move of the Head Office to London within a tight timescale.

To be eligible for this role, a strong knowledge of finance and/or operations is needed, as well as drive and commitment, the company is offering further training and development for the right individual and would expect this person to become a key member of the team within a very short space of time and hold a directors appointment in the foreseeable future. A strong attention to detail is also needed, as well as the flexibility to travel to the Isle of Man on a regular basis as needed.

The ideal person for this role, would probably come from the AGC or similar, and have the gravitas to be able to deal with Government Institutions such as the FSA and similar.
