Cross Trade Technician (289jc) vacancy in Lossiemouth ()

My client, an engineering company with contracts to the MoD is now seeking a Cross Trade Technician to join them at Lossiemouth for this fixed term contract until end of Jun 2015.

Job Description
My client wishes to appoint a Cross Trade Technician reporting to the AW Flight Manager.

Responsibilities
To support the delivery of the Search and Rescue (SAR) task at Lossiemouth on the SKIOS contract. My client provides Sea King helicopter maintenance and additional technical support to the AgustaWestlands (AW) Site management team on 7 SAR sites across UK and at MPC Falkland Islands.

Primary Responsibilities will include:
• Scheduled servicing and corrective maintenance on Sea King helicopters and of Ground Support Equipment
• Ground movement of aircraft
• Flight line operations.
• Preparation of aircraft for road or air transportation

Qualifications & Requirements
• Accredited Aircraft Apprenticeship, Service equivalent trade training, NVQ level 2 or equivalent, which demonstrates the practical and theoretical standards required.
• Appropriate Sea King trade group courses although training would be available to successful applicants
• Full driving license is essential. An LGV C and ADR qualification would increase flexibility.

Working Hours

Hours: 42.5/week, 3 days, 3 standby, 3 nights, 3 off
