Internal Sales (Military Equipment) vacancy in Sunbury-On-Thames (130jc)

My client is a UK based importer and distributor of specialist sights, tactical and rescue equipment for the law enforcement and sporting sectors.

You will be reporting to the Company Director and you will be responsible for supporting the external sales staff and liaising with sub-contractors and suppliers.

And the main purpose of your role will be an Internal Sales administration role for the company’s commercial and professional product portfolio.

Therefore your key responsibilities will include:
Sales Administration
- Evaluating, processing and monitoring sales leads.
- Preparation and monitoring of quotations.
- Preparation and monitoring of equipment loans.
- Responding to customer enquiries, technical and commercial.
- Tele-sales.
- Support to field based sales executives.
- Licensing and order processing.
- Customer complaints and returns.
- Maintenance of price lists and monitoring of stock.
- Liaison with warehouse and accounts.

Promotional Duties
- Attend exhibitions – between 2 – 6 per year
- Organise the company presence at exhibitions.

To undertake any other appropriate tasks which may reasonably be requested by the Director
- Carried out effectively on time and within budget

Key Networks
- Business to government sales.
- B2B & B2C sales.
- Suppliers liaison on technical and commercial aspects
- Support to field based sales executives.

To be eligible for this role you will need the following qualifications and experience
- Science, engineering or IT skills preferable to degree level.
- Sales training qualifications preferable with industry experience.
- Experience of working to ISO 9001
- IT literate – MS Office suite, CRM package and e-commerce platforms.
- Security Clearance.
- Full clean driving licence.
