Job Purpose
This is a key position, requiring the drive to significantly contribute to the company’s turnover and profile. The detailed Role Profile can be shaped according to individual experience and track record. Sales remit is Nationwide, predominantly Home Counties.
Responsibilities
• Manage an allocated sales territory, utilising existing contacts and developing new business opportunities.
• Carry out contract negotiations and conclude contracts with customers
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
• Represent our client at events, exhibitions, networking opportunities
• Travel to project sites and meet with clients
Your Profile
• You either have (i) sales experience and a track record of successful sales, preferably in the construction industry OR (ii) a confident, ‘can do’ & positive attitude, with experience in dealing with external customers/stakeholders, high profile connections/contacts & strong interest to pursue a new civilian Sales career.
• Strong technical understanding (engineering if helpful but not essential) and strong MS Office skills
• Proactive, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial attitude
• Excellent ability to work in a team and very strong, solution-oriented organisational skills
• Have the right to work in the UK & Willingness to travel
Advantageous/Desirable skills
• Proficiency in German (verbal & written)
• Experience in the Construction industry
• Connections/Contacts to high profile professionals/high net worth individuals
