I served with the British Army for 10 years reaching the rank of Full Corporal. During my time in the forces, I adopted many various leadership and management roles. After leaving the military I spent 5 years working in the middle east providing security for the oil and gas sector, again, in leadership roles. My vast experience allows me to adapt in new roles and learn very easily. Due to the nature of my previous roles, health and safety has been paramount, which allows me to adopt a safety-first approach to work. I can also demonstrate this as I am starting my NEBOSH General Certificate course on the 18th January 2021. I am now looking for an opportunity and new challenge where I can demonstrate my leadership and management skills as well as exploit my instructional ability. The post you are advertising really appeals to me and focuses on continual improvement through robust self assessment. I have plenty of management and leadership experience. I would also be willing to learn the new role at a reduced salary as I know I am a fast learner and have very strong organisational skills that have been tested in both hostile and harsh environments and I have practical leadership and managerial experience from a comparatively young age and readily accept responsibility.
